Pam Escobar is proud to announce she filed her notice of candidacy for Cabarrus County School Board at the Board of Elections in Concord today. She is a mom of two Cabarrus County school students, a communications professional and former journalist. All candidate filing was put on hold in December. It re-opened today. Escobar is running for a non-partisan County seat. There is no primary for this race. Voters will have three seats to fill on the Cabarrus County School Board on election day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
“I’m your candidate for Cabarrus County School Board. I’m a wife, working mama, and taxpayer in Cabarrus County. Like you- I care about our kids’ education. I have two girls in Cabarrus County schools. I want our schools to continue to attract families and make our communities thrive. I’m coming off the sidelines as a parent to make a positive change,” said Escobar.
Pam is most concerned about students bouncing back from learning slides, teacher retention and accountability. School board members should know what they are voting for and be communicating it to the public regularly.
